Pre-embarkation Stage
One of the most important stages to secure that everything is in order prior embarking any seafarer is the so-called pre-embarkation stage.
Elvictor has developed various digitalized processes in order to concurrently inform the seafarers and the Ship Managers to attain operational efficiency and performance.
Upon dispatch, the seafarer receives an HTML5 Coded link that provides online all of his documents for ready for download to his mobile.
Attached to this link are: electronic tickets, letter of guarantee, OK to Board, any LOI, Port Agent complete information, and contact details, dispatching letters, and any additional documents that may be required depending on the country and the port.
Any last-minute update on tickets or any document or information necessary for the embarking seafarer is updated, and the seafarer receives a notification to enter to his seafarer intranet account.
Elvictor has developed API connections with google maps and weather, notifying any embarking seafarer even when he has to begin from home to reach the airport in time.
Throughout the pre-embarkation stage, until the seafarer reaches the destination port, an interactive HTML5 Coded link is received, with complete guidance for the port and country he will get for his embarkation, covering the respective TMSA element, applied to all seafarers of other vessel types too.
There is a log of all these links sent to the seafarer recipients for documented evidence, and due to the cloud technologies, that Elvictor uses, there is availability to see if the seafarer has read the information we have sent if he downloaded the separate files and generally to assure that the seafarer is informed.
Elvictor has integrated its system with some travel APIs that report the status of the flight, the flight schedule, any potential delay or postponement of the flight.
Depending on the flight condition, the shipping agent is informed, and so do the Ship Manager with automated email and SMS text.
