Seafarer Heading For The Interview
The seafarer applicant that Elvictor's Operations Center approves is interviewed depending on his rank, either from a Superintendent Engineer or Port Captain.
Prior Interview
Suppose the applicant/interviewee is an officer. In that case, we request him, through our network office personnel's assistance, to provide us detailed information about his experience in cargos, pumps (if tankers), port experience details, inspections experience, vetting experience, etc. This information is crucial and vital data before his interview.
Interview Questions
This interview is Elvictor's interview, and dynamic questions arise from the system and guide the interviewer on what to ask the interviewee. Some theoretical and practical questions come up in different sequences to ensure that the interviewer will not assist the Seafarer. At the same time, the Seafarer will not have any set of questions and thus be prepared.
The dynamic questions that arise depend on the Seafarer's data and information concerning his experience and previous sea services reported in the SEA.
For example, a dynamic question may be to the Seafarer:
"Why in your previous sea service in [Vessel X Principal 2], your contract duration was three months whereas your average contract period in other previous sea services in the same rank was on average six months?"
Such dynamic questions are developed based on experience from our various Ship Managers who have questioned the same. A specific algorithm is designed based on business intelligence to generate these questions automatically.
